Yutaka Nakamura, a doctor of medicine who founded Taiyo no Ie based on the belief that "even if there are people (children) with physical or mental disabilities in the world, there is no obstacle to their work." Mr. Kazuma Tateishi, the founder of OMRON Corporation, has summarized in the corporate motto the attitude of contributing to society through business and management (the public nature of the company). In 1972, OMRON Taiyo Co., Ltd. was born as a joint venture of welfare facilities, disabled people, and a private company.
